Celebration of Steam

A Celebration of Steam, 9th & 10th May, is back for the fourth year running and this year has even more steam engines, a full programme of entertainment, a tasty real ale and sausage festival and special guest, Ivor the Engine.  

You can take a ride on a steam wagon, a miniature ride-on railway and miniature steam engine or take a trip into the harbour on the Paddle Steamer Medina Monarch. There is also an exclusive opportunity to tour the Block Mills – the world’s first complete steam powered factory.

Plus saw bench displays, fairground attractions, craft and gifts, Victorian characters pacing the streets and entrance to the Historic Dockyard attractions* there really will be something for everyone at A Celebration of Steam!
